To correctly set the astronomical timer switch to adapt to the longitude and latitude of different regions, follow the steps below:

 

1. Unlock the device
Find the "Restore" button on the time switch, press it and press it four times in a row to unlock. If there is no other operation within 15 seconds, the time switch will automatically lock.

2. Basic time setting
Press the "Clock" button to enter the time setting mode:

Adjust hours: Press the "Time" button to set the current hours.
Adjust minutes: Press the "Minutes" button to set the current minutes.
Set the week: Press the "Week" button to select the current day of the week.


3. Configure longitude and latitude information
Enter astronomical mode: Press the "Mode" or "Astronomy" button to switch to astronomical control mode.
Enter longitude and latitude:
Manually enter the longitude and latitude of your region according to the device operation interface.
If the device supports GPS positioning, you can turn on the GPS function to automatically obtain location information.


4. Select astronomical time mode
Choose one of the following modes according to your needs:

Sunrise and sunset mode: The time of switching on and off the light is automatically calculated by the longitude and latitude and displayed on the LCD screen, which can be manually corrected.
Sidereal time mode: Switching control based on sidereal time.
Moon phase time mode: Adjust the switching time according to the change of moon phase.


5. Set the switching time
Set the light on time: Set the light on time according to the astronomical calculation results or manual correction.
Set the light off time: Set the light off time according to the astronomical calculation results or manual correction.


6. Save and test
Save settings: Press the "Save" or "Confirm" button to save all settings.
Test run: Observe whether the device automatically switches the light on and off according to the set astronomical time.

7. Precautions
Regular calibration: Due to changes in the speed of the earth's rotation, it is recommended to calibrate the device regularly to ensure time accuracy.
Avoid interference: Try to avoid electromagnetic interference during use to ensure the normal operation of the device.
Backup data: Back up device settings regularly to prevent data loss.
